Senior Information Architect

Senior Information Architect
Contract, 12 months
Location: Southlake, TX near DFW Airport


Essential Job Functions:
As part of the Global Customer Experience/User Interface team, the Information Architect (IA) is responsible for collaborating with User Interface Design, Usability Testing, Product Managers and Product Development teams; all from various locations around the globe, to create a converged site for the client and its regional brands. This position draws upon expert knowledge of Interaction Design and Content Management Systems.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required in graphic design, library sciences, interaction design, design planning, literature, communications, cognitive psychology or human-centered design preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate visually and facilitate the visual representation of concepts in a virtual work environment
  • Solid command of User Experience offerings across research and design
  • Knowledge of user behavior and site technical organization and operations
  • Strong sense of process and the ability to innovate on process tools and conventions
  • Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience in working on multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
Required Experience:
  • 4+ years combined experience in Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Science, and usability testing in the development of web sites and/or web-based applications.
  • Content management systems and/or content display systems
  • E-commerce applications
  • Participation in global project efforts and exposure working with different countries

Data Warehouse Database Architect

Data Warehouse Database Architect
Contract, 6+ months
Location: Southlake, TX near DFW Airport


Essential Job Functions:
The Data Warehouse Database Architect will be responsible for aiding in the ongoing design and implementation of a growing Teradata Data Warehouse environment. They will be involved in database design, tuning, security and backup of the Data Warehouse.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years Teradata DBA work including security, tuning and backup strategies
  • 3+ years of writing/maintaining database load scripts
  • Certified Teradata Professional highly desired
  • Strong understanding of Teradata database and SQL tuning strategies
  • Understanding of Teradata security including profiles, roles and privileges
  • Understanding of backup and recovery strategies
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements for a recommended technical solution

SAP Cutover Manager with PM experience

Cutover Manager
Contract, anticipated duration 1-2 years
Location: Irving, TX


Essential Functions:
A Cutover Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and execution of a detailed cutover plan encompassing all of the business and technical activities required to enable the final Production go-live.

Required Qualifications:
Ability to maintain responsibility for the following:
- Defining Cutover Scope/time window
- Clarifying roles and responsibilities for all team members involved in cutover
- Determining black-out / brown-out periods for all legacy systems during the cutover window
- Planning and Management of Mock Cutover Activities
- Planning and Management of Production Cutover Activities
- Monitoring Production Cutover execution progress and issues
- Enabling the transition to Production Support
Project scheduling through MS Project
Good Communication skills required to facilitate meetings
SAP Master Data / transactional data dependencies
SAP process design
